Sean Harris is a Los Angeles-based make-up artist who started his career with MAC Cosmetics back in 2007. Since then, he has embarked on his own career as a freelance artist.

His signature style is fresh, glowing skin and his work has been featured in several magazines including Vogue Italia and FlauntSean has also worked with Grammy nominee Antonique Smith, Beyoncé's protégés—Chloe and Halle, Ashanti, Serayah and many others.

Amuze.com caught up with the in-demand make-up artist to discuss all things beauty, his fave products, and how a cashier job at MAC turned a passion into his career.

How did you get your start in the make-up artistry business and why did you decide to pursue it as a full time career?
A little over ten years ago I started as a cashier at MAC Cosmetics. After a year of being inspired by the artists around me, I decided to practice make-up full-time and interview for an artist position. With the help of my fellow co-workers, I fine tuned my skill set and secured a position as an artist. After five years at MAC Cosmetics I realized that make-up was a such positive outlet for my creativity and I began to pursue new opportunities outside of retail. I am now living my dream as a freelance make-up artist!

What’s the make-up aesthetic you’re most well known for?
Fresh and glowing skin with attitude.
